The causes for the condition may be synovitis , rupture of capsule or a lesion in muscle complex round the joint, a history or traums, heart or lung problems, heart surgery and diabetes.
Ayurveda suggests Panchakarma treatment and Kerala therapy which aims to bring equilibrium in the Vata- Kapha levels in the body. The popular treatment includes a medicated oil body massage.
